Yes, a local – to you – agent, can help you define state specific terms. Some states, the state insurance department website will have a “buyer’s guide” to help explain how insurance works in YOUR state.
Coverage is highly state specific, and you obviously need someone in YOUR state – which you didn’t mention – to give you help with this. Call a local agent.
