Question by : what license dates do you use when getting insurance quotes?
my boyfriend got six points in his first year of driving and lost his license. He then retook his test and got a new license but the 6points are still on it. When he gets insurance quotes online should he put the date he got his first license or his current one?

It really doesn’t matter but I would use the first date. There is no way he can avoid the insurance company or anyone else from seeing the violations and points no matter how many different licenses he gets.
