Does anyone have Pet Insurance-looking for the best policy that covers emergencies?

I’m looking for a Pet Insurance policy that has the best coverage for emergencies. Preventative care is affordable, the emergencies/testing/diagnostics are what I find to be unaffordable. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks for your help!

Petplan everytime they cover do a cover for life that covers just about everything, and if you have a dog/cat you cat go on the supreme unlimited it also does not matter how much it comes to as there is no limit. Just a £90 excess for each illness/injury and you can do direct claims with them which means you don’t have to find the money for the treatment etc up front. Mostly preventative care is down to you with feeding etc.

Pet insurance doesn’t cover things like vaccines, worming etc; they will only cover illness & surgery.

In the care of an animal vaccines are routine; something *every* responsible pet owners do. For dogs & cats I believe if you don’t vaccinate you aren’t given insurance; which is fair. Insurance also doesn’t cover spaying/castrating, again, that is something a responsible owner does.

Being run over by a car (for example)…isn’t routine & this is what the insurance will pay out for.

I have VPI health insurance.
I do get it through my pay roll deductions, I have multiple pets

so i get the multiple pet discount plus I get another discount because my work offers it through payroll.

I also get the cancer rider which they cover I think double if they have cancer. (knock on wood)

I think ASPCA also has insurance, and I did do a quote for my dogs and it was quite expensive! Over $2000 and that’s only for half the year!

I pay a lot less from VPI.

Just remember to always keep your receipts, and if you have anymore questions, please feel free to email me.

thank you

I have Quick Care Gold for my dog. It was the most affordable with the best coverage.

There are different levels, including one for just emergency care (not routine visits), but also full coverage that has vaccines covered.

It paid for itself the day we found out she was allergic to bees.

I agree with bull.

But someone can give you the best, but you have to figure out

which plan is best for you.

I like VPI,
THEY DO COVER VACCINES depending on which plan you get, but they cover more for emergencies.
I did get quotes from Quick Care and ASPCA, and they are expensive for me. but that’s just me.
